Islamic University College, Ghana (IUCG) requires the services of Senior Lecturing/Teaching Staff to kick-start its post-graduate degree courses in the current and planned academic programmes.

 

The management of the institution Islamic University College, Ghana (IUCG) is using this medium to invites applications from suitable quality candidates for Senior Lecturing Staff only (Professors, Associate Professors and Senior Lecturers) for vacant positions in the specified subject areas at the Adjiringanor (East Legon/ Accra) Campus of Islamic University College, Ghana.

4. African Indigenous Religions

 

1. FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

1. Accounting
2. Banking and Finance
3. Marketing
4. Human Resource Management (HRM)

 

1. FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION STUDIES

1. Journalism
2. Advertising
3. Public Relations

 

1. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (New)

1. Educational Psychology
2. Early Childhood Education
3. Basic Education
4. Curriculum and Teaching

 

1. DEPARTMENT OF ARABIC STUDIES (New)

1. Arabic Language
2. Arabic Linguistics
3. Arabic Literature: Classical and Modern

 

Qualifications/Experience

1. Ph.D in any of the subject areas named above, with a minimum of three (3) published research articles [applicants with Ph.D degree but less than three published articles may be employed as Lecturers];
2. Current Professors and Senior Lecturers in recognized University or comparable Institution/Organisation
3. Ability to teach courses in two or more subject areas will be an advantage.

 

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Research and Teaching (undergraduate and post-graduate work)
2. Supervision of undergraduate Long Essays and Master’s Theses
3. Academic Counselling

NOTE:

1. Retired Senior Lecturers, Associate Professors and Professors are encouraged to apply
2. Senior Lecturing Staff seeking Part-Time Lecturing positions may also apply.
