It was announced yesterday 10th August, 2015 by West African Examinations Council (WAEC) official that out of 1,593,442 candidates that sat for May/June 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), 616,370 (38.68%) obtained credit in five subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics. This result indicates that the reaming 977,072 (61.32%) candidates did not obtained complete five credit in their subjects.
