UMYU 2015/16 Pre-Degree Admission Form is Now On Sale

We are glad to inform the general public that the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) Pre-Degree / Remedial Programme admission application form for the 2015/2016 academic session is now available on sale.

The management of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina (UMYU) School of Pre-Degree and Remedial Studies, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into her university pre-degree programme for the 2015/2016 academic session.

UMYU Pre-Degree / Remedial Programmes – Admission Requirements

The courses offered in the programme are: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

APPLICATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates applying for Pre-Degree Programme must possess at least three (3) Credits in Science subjects and any two passes at ‘O’ level in the other subjects offered in the school.

i.   Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics;

ii. Biology, Chemistry, Physics;

iii. Biology, Physics, Mathematics;

iv.  Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.

2.  Candidates admitted for the Pre-Degree Studies must register and pass at credit level the WAEC, NABTEB or NECO in the subjects they are deficient.

3. Candidates must also register for the 2016/2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the minimum pass mark approved by JAMB and must choose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University as their 1^st choice.

4. The Pre-Degree and Remedial Studies Programme’s duration is two semesters.

How to Apply For UMYU Pre-Degree Admission

Interested candidates are required to follow the procedures below:

1. Log on to www.umyu.edu.ng and download the application form; or Click here to Download Application Form
2. Pay the sum of one thousand naira (N1,000.00) only which covers the cost of the form, screening and pre-admission test expenses;

iii. Proceed to the designated bank, make payment and obtain payment slip.

The designated bank for the exercise is:

UMYU Pre-Degree / Remedial Application Closing Date

All completed application forms must be submitted to the School of Pre-Degree and Remedial Studies, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University on or before 1^st February, 2016.
