UHAS Undergraduates ProgrammesWe are glad to inform the general public that the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Undergraduate Admissions (Regular) Application Form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out.

The management of the institution University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) is using this medium to invites application from suitable qualify candidates into their Undergraduate Admissions (Regular) Programmes 2016/2017 academic session.

Application forms for admission to degree programmes in the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) for the 2016/2017 Academic Year are available online at uhasonline.com/Admissions for the following undergraduate programmes.

 

 UHAS Undergraduate Admissions (Regular) – Available Programmes

SCHOOL OF MEDICINE 

  • Medical Degree (MB ChB)
  • Bachelor of Physician Assistantship (Clinical)

 

SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY 

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Bachelor of Public Health Nursing
  • Bachelor of Mental Health Nursing (only TOP – UP)

 

SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES 

  • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
  • Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy
  • Bachelor of Dietetics
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy

 

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH  

Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) with the following options:

  • Disease Control
  • Environmental Health
  • Health Information
  • Health Promotion
  • Nutrition

NOTE:

  • FEE PAYING APPLICANTS: Those who wish to be considered for FEE PAYING in case they are unable to make the cut-off point(s) should tick the column provided on the online application form for FEE PAYING.
  • WASSCE AWAITING RESULT: Those awaiting their results may apply (only those who started the application process before the closing date will be allowed to complete the process after their results are released by WAEC). 

 

UHAS Undergraduate Admissions (Regular) – Entry Requirements

LOCAL APPLICANTS

WASSCE/SSSCE : Passes (A1-C6 / A-D) respectively in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects:

  1. Entry Requirements for WASSCE Applicants into programmes of the School of Medicine and School of Allied Health Sciences
  • English
  • Core Mathematics
  • Integrated Science
  • Social Studies

In addition, applicants must have obtained three (3) credits in the following Elective Subjects: Chemistry, Physics and Biology / Elective Mathematics.

  • Short-listed applicants may be required to attend a selection interview.

 

NOTE: Entry Requirement for Bachelor of Dietetics at the School of Allied Health Sciences

Applicants must possess at least credits (C6) in

  1. English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science
  2. Three (3) elective subjects from:

Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Elective Mathematics, Food and Nutrition, Management in Living, General Agriculture, Economics and Animal Husbandry.

  • Short-listed applicants may be required to attend a selection interview.

  1. Entry Requirements for WASSCE Applicants into programmes of the School of Nursing and Midwifery 

Applicants must possess at least credit (C6) in three (3) electives subjects from the following:

Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Elective Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies or Islamic Religious Studies, Literature-in-English, French, General Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Food and Nutrition  and Management in Living.

  • Short-listed applicants may be required to attend a selection interview. 

 

  1. Entry Requirements for WASSCE Applicants into programmes of the School of Public Health

     Applicants must possess at least credits (C6) in

  1. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and Social Studies
  2. Three (3) elective subjects from:
    Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Elective Mathematics, Food and Nutrition, General Knowledge in Arts, Geography, Literature-in-English, General Agriculture, Economics, Animal Husbandry and Information Communication Technology.
  • Short-listed applicants may be required to attend a selection interview.

    Please can someone use chemistry physics and agriculture /animal husbandry as his electives to apply for medical laboratory technology in uhas?
