How To Apply for UHAS Admission – 2016/2017

uhas 1DOMESTIC (GHANAIAN) APPLICANTS

All applicants for the 2016/2017 Academic year admission are required to read ENTRY REQUIREMENTS before proceeding to apply and they must use  the UHAS online admission portal to apply. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:

  1. Applicants are required to purchase University of Health and Allied Sciences E-Vouchers at GH₵ 180.00(One Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis)from any branch of the following:
  • Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) 
  • Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)
  • Zenith Bank
  • Ghana Post Offices (i.e. the nearest Post Office
  1. The E-Voucher contains a PIN and SERIAL NUMBER. The PIN and SERIAL NUMBER are required in completing the online application form.
  2. Access the online form by visiting our online admission portal at uhasonline.com/Admissions
  3. Fee Paying Applicants: Those who wish to be considered for FEE PAYING in case they are unable to make the cut-off point(s) should tick the column provided on the online application form for FEE PAYING.
  4. In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their passport size photograph (not more than 400KB) with a white background.
  5. Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before they finally submit their online applications. A form, once submitted cannot be edited.
  6. Awaiting Result: Those awaiting their results may apply (only those who started the application process before the closing date will be allowed to complete the process after their results are released by WAEC).
  7. Awaiting results: Those awaiting results cannot complete the Application Process and therefore CANNOT SUBMIT. They also cannot PRINT. They should LOG OUT  at Step 3 on the application platformand return to input their grades when their results are ready.
  8. After filling the online form, PRINT three copies of the PREVIEW PAGE (application summary). Then submit online. Please note that you must PRINT before SUBMITTING online. You cannot PRINT after SUBMITTING online.
  9. Upon completion of the application process, print out 3 copies of the summary; WASSCE/SSSCE applicants should attach 3 copies of each result slip; Access Course and Top-Up applicants should attach 3 copies each of their professional certificate(s) or transcript(s) or both.
  10. Applicants should purchase UHAS EMS envelopes (one big size envelope and one quarto size self-address envelope) from the nearest Ghana Post office.
  11. The application documents as specified at (IX) above in addition to the quarto size self-address envelope, should be put in the big UHAS EMS envelope and be submitted at the nearest Ghana Post office.
  12. All application document(s) should be submitted via Ghana Post. The University will not accept any application document DIRECTLY from applicants.

FOREIGN APPLICANTS

Foreign applicants who have the qualifications listed under ENTRY REQUIREMENT or their equivalent from an accredited/recognized institution can apply as follows:

  1. 1. Make payment of a non – refundable fee of $130.00 (One Hundred and Thirty US Dollars) at any Ecobank Branchin your country:

  1. 2. International Applicants should note that by the laws of Ghana, they are expected to obtain Non-Citizen Ghanacard before they can be enrolled for courses offered at the University. International Applicants should therefore contact the Academic Affairs Unit for assistance on how to obtain a .
  2. 3. Access the online form by visiting our online admission portal at uhasonline.com/Admissions and click on “Click to apply as a Foreign Student”.
  3. 4. An activation code will be sent to your mobile number and email address.
  4. 5. Go to Form Typeand select Foreign Student. Use the activation code to access the application form.
  5. 6. Applicants will be required to upload their passport size photograph (not more than 400KB) with a white background.
  6. 7. After filling the online form, print out three copies of the preview page (application summary). Then submit online. Please note that you must PRINT before SUBMITTING online. You cannot PRINT after SUBMITTING online.
  7. 8. Scan the application summary, your pay-in slip and certificates/results slips into one PDF or WORD document and send as an attachment to info@uhas.edu.gh.
  8. 9. Applicants should note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the application fee.
  9. 10. Upon printing the application summary; WASSCE/SSSCE or equivalent applicants should attach 3 copies of each result slip; Access Course and Top-Up applicants should attach 3 copies each of their professional certificate(s) and transcript(s).
  10. 11. The application documents as specified (VII) above should be put in ONE envelope and be posted by any fast and reliable means to
