FIRST SEMESTER

August, 2017
Sat. 5th Orientation for all students newly admitted to Graduate programmes
Mon. 7th – Fri. 25th Registration period for all Graduate students
Sat. 26th Orientation for all newly admitted Undergraduate students including
post-first degree LLB students
Mon. 28th Registration begins for 1st Semester 2017/2018 for continuing students and fresh
students with payment of a minimum of 60% fees.
September, 2017
Aug. Mon.28th-Sept. Fri.1st Pre-Semester Conference for 2017/2018 1st Semester and Training for
Faculty (Regular & Adjunct) and Senior Members
Mon. 4th Lectures begin for all students – Fresh and Continuing Students
Fri. 21st Deadline for Lecturers to print class lists from the ERP
Fri. 29th End of Registration for the 1st Semester 2017/2018 academic year
October, 2017
Mon. 16th – Fri.20th Mid-Semester Examinations
Fri – Sat   6th – 7th Orientation for newly admitted WASSCE (Day) students
Mon. 9th Registration begins for freshly admitted WASSCE (Day) students
Mon. 9th Lectures begin for newly admitted WASSCE (Day) students
Tues. 31st Deadline for payment of all outstanding fee balances by all provisionally registered
Students
-End of Registration for WASSCE (Day) students for the 1st Semester 2017/2018
academic year
November, 2017
Fri. 3rd Tema Campus matriculation for newly admitted undergraduate students
Fri. 10th Main Campus matriculation for newly admitted undergraduate students who have
been duly registered, including post-first degree LLB students. Newly admitted
students whose names are not on the provisional list of registered students will not be
allowed to matriculate

 

Fri. 17th –  Kumasi/Takoradi  Campuses  –   matriculation  for  newly  admitted  undergraduate
students to be held simultaneously
Mon. 27th– Fri. 8th Evaluation of Teaching Faculty by students
Mon. 20th – Fri. 24th Mid-Semester Examinations for newly admitted WASSCE (Day) students
Thurs. 30th Lectures end for continuing students and August intakes
December, 2017
Mon. 4th  – Fri. 8th Revision week for continuing students and August intakes
Mon. 11th End-of-Semester Examinations for continuing students and August intakes
begin for only students whose names are on the final list of registered students
Fri. 22nd End-of-Semester Examinations ends for continuing students and August intakes
Fri. 22nd First Semester ends for continuing students and August intakes
Fri. 22nd Christmas break for newly admitted WASSCE students

Tues. 2nd Classes resume for fresh (WASSCE) students
Tues. 2nd Classes for Vacation School to begin
Fri. 5th End of 1st Semester lectures for fresh (WASSCE-Day) students
Mon. 8th – Fri 12th Revision week for fresh (WASSCE-Day) students
Mon. 8th – Fri 27th January 2018 session for modular graduate students
Wed. 10th –Fri. 12th Moderation of Scripts/Grades and release of provisional examination results for
continuing students and August intakes by Schools
Mon. 15th End-of-semester exams begin for fresh (WASSCE-Day) students
Fri. 20th Publication of approved examination semester results
Fri. 26th End-of-1st Semester exams for fresh (WASSCE-Day) students. {Grades are due 2
weeks after each examination paper is taken}
Fri. 26th Classes for Vacation School ends
Mon. 8th Deadlines for submission of Examination Grades/Scripts to the Schools
by lecturers (Grades due 2 weeks after each examination paper is taken)

 

Wed. 17th – Fri. 19th Moderation of Scripts/Grades and release of provisional examination results by
Schools
Mon. 29th Registration begins for 2nd Semester 2017/2018 for continuing students, August
intakes and WASSCE (Day) students with payment of a minimum of 60% fees.
February, 2018
Mon. 5th Lectures begin for 2nd Semester for ALL students
Wed. 28th Registration ends for 2nd Semester 2017/2018

Thurs. 29th Deadline for payment of all outstanding fee balances by all provisionally registered

Mon. 9th Deadline for payment of all outstanding fee balances by all provisionally registered
