ABU Zaria Cut-Off Mark & Post UTME Form is Out – 2015/16

ABU logoAhmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria Post UTME minimum cut-off mark is 180 and ABU Post UTME admission form for the 2015/2016 academic session is now on sale.

I am glad to announce to the general public that the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2015/2016 academic session has commence.

Eligible Candidates for ABU Post UTME

  • Candidates who scored 180 and above in 2015 UTME JAMB for all Courses.
  • And candidates who chose Ahmadu Bello University as their first choice.

Registration for the screening exercise will commence on Monday, 3rd August, 2015 and close on Sunday, 23rd August, 2015.

 

ABU Post UTME Method of Registration

  • Applicants are required to pay a sum of ₦2,000.00 for the screening exercise. This is exclusive of bank administrative charge of ₦200.00.
  • To make the payment, candidates are advised to visit the University PUTME registration portal (putme.abu.edu.ng) and Generate a Transaction Payment Slip, print the slip and proceed to any of the designated banks below for payment.

  3. Diamond Bank Plc
  4. Guarantee Trust Bank Plc
  5. Main Street Bank Plc
  6. Key Stone Bank Plc
  7. United Bank for Africa UBA Plc
  8. Fidelity Bank Plc
  9. Zenit Bank Plc
  • Candidates are to use their Jamb registration number as their username and their respective state of origin as password for login in.
  • After making payment in any of the prescribed Banks, candidates are to go back to the PUTME portal (www.putme.abu.edu.ng) to finish up their registration and schedule for the Screening Test.

 

ABU Post UTME Registration Procedure

  1. Login after payment to complete your registration and schedule for the Screening test
  2. Provide your personal records if missing and click update
  3. You must provide a valid GSM number and Email address
  4. Upload your true passport size photograph in JPG format (not more than 100KB) and O/level results (where available).
  5. Choose awaiting result where applicable. Ensure that your photograph is uploaded.
  6. Click on the save button.
  7. You will be redirected to the Portal where you will be scheduled for the screening
  8. Print 2 copies of the Scheduling slip and bring along during the screening exercise.

  • The printout of the scheduled test and a printout of the UTME result MUST be submitted on the day of the screening. Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records.
  • Candidates MUST arrive at the screening venue at least One Hour before their scheduled screening time, to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.

Please Note:

  1. (GSM Phones are not allowed during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
  2. Parents, Guardians and uninvited law enforcement agencies will not be allowed into the venues during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
  3. Only the calculators similar to those provided by JAMB will be allowed into the screening venue.

 

ABU Post UTME Screening Exercise Venue.

Venues, dates and time for Screening are as contained on the scheduling Slip.

Candidates should report to the new Lecture Hall, Faculty of Social Science, Main Campus, Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru, Zaria at least one hour before the scheduled time as indicated on the candidate’s slip.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the dates indicated above will not be considered for admission into the University during the 2015/2016 Session.
