This is to inform the general public that the Abia State Polytechnic (ABIAPOLY) ND (Part-Time & Evening) and Pre-ND admission application forms for the 2017/2018 academic session.
The management of the institution is using this medium to invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Abia State Polytechnic (ABIAPOLY) programme for 2017/2018 academic session.
ND Part-Time Available Programmes & Requirements
(A) AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN THE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY ARE AS FOLLOWS
(1) Civil Engineering Technology
(2) Mechanical Engineering Technology
(3) Electrical Electronic Engineering Technology
(4) Computer Engineering Technology
(5) Welding And Fabrication Technology
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and one other science subject.
Note: A credit pass in any of the following subject will be an advantage: Wood work, Metal works, Auto-Mechanics, Basic Electronics, Basik Electricity, Technical Drawing and Fine Art
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and one other science subject from the following:
Biology, Agricultural Science, Additional Mathematics, Economics, statistics, Technical Drawing, Auto-Mechanics, Metal works.
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Credit level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one other science subject.
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English language and other science subject.
- WELDING AND FABRICATION TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English language and other science subject.
(B) AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SCHOOL OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY
(i) FOOD TECHNOLOGY
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Five credit level passes in WASSCE/NECO, NABTEB in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.
(C) AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SCHOOL HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT
- HOSPITAL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Five credit level passes in WASSCE/NECO, NABTEB in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Biology, Agricultural science/Health science, English Language and three of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Food and Nutrition/Home Economics and Geography. Aat least a pass in Mathematics is compulsory.
How to Apply for Abia State Polytechnic ND Part-Time & Pre-ND Admission
- Candidates are to visit http://portal.abiastatepolytechnic.edu.ng/Applicant/Form/PostJambFormInvoiceGeneration to generate invoice receipt
- Fill in the Required application details and generate invoice.
- Print the Invoice and proceed to FirstBank, UBA, Fidelity, Eco Bank, FCMB with the print-out to make payment using the generated ‘Invoice Number’
- After payment, visit: http://portal.abiastatepolytechnic.edu.ng/Applicant/Form/PostJambProgramme
- Enter your confirmation code in the space provided.
- Click on “Next” and proceed to complete your online registration/application form.
- Print your “Acknowledgement Slip”
N.B Ensure review the details you provided before submitting your online application form.
Applications cost:
ND Evening Programme Cost is Nine Thousand Naira (₦9,000)
ND Part-Time Programme Cost is Thirteen Thousand Naira (₦13,000)
Pre-ND Programme Form Cost is Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000)
